Review – Tales of Xillia Remastered
The Tales of series has been around for a long time, and this year it celebrates its 30th anniversary. In recent years we’ve received several remasters of titles like Tales of Graces and Tales of Symphonia, as well as the latest adventure, Tales of Arise, which we enjoyed a lot!
Tales of Xillia was released for the PlayStation 3 in 2013, right at the end of the console’s life cycle since the PlayStation 4 launched the following year. Regardless, Tales of Xillia became one of my favorite entries in the series, I’d even say it is my favorite (sharing that spot with Tales of Arise and Tales of Berseria). What I especially loved was being able to play as two protagonists and how gripping the story was.
Now it’s finally time for a remaster of another game close to my heart! Is the Tales of Xillia remaster as good as I remember, or is it a major disappointment?
