DreamHack to Stockholm – becomes the largest festival ever.

DreamHack is coming to Stockholm in November 2024. The world’s largest gaming and cultural festival to the world’s foremost gaming city, to the largest exhibition facility in the Nordic region. – DreamHack Stockholm will be our largest festival ever, says Shahin Zarrabi, VP of Festivals EFG.

DreamHack is the world’s largest gaming and cultural festival. In November 2024, the festival, along with festival partner Elgiganten, is coming to Stockholm and Stockholmsmässan. As part of the ESL FACEIT Group (EFG), DreamHack has already established itself worldwide. International gaming hubs like Atlanta, Dallas, Melbourne, and Tokyo all host DreamHack’s fantastic festivals. Stockholm is one of the world’s leading cities in gaming – now with DreamHack Stockholm as the highlight of the year.

Stockholm has become the gaming capital of Scandinavia. The Stockholm region is considered one of the foremost European regions for game development, with everything from leading AAA-development to mobile games and indie developers present in the city. Moreover, there are more game developers per capita here than in any other city. The Swedish gaming miracle is a globally recognized phenomenon that has resulted in iconic titles such as Minecraft, Battlefield, and Candy Crush. The world’s largest gaming and cultural festival will be hosted at Stockholmsmässan in Älvsjö, Stockholm – the largest exhibition facility in the Nordic region.

DreamHack turns 30 in 2024. What started as a LAN festival and was described by the media in the ’90s as the ’Woodstock of Hackers’ is now a global sensation with festivals all over the world. DreamHack is proud of its Swedish heritage and has held its two largest festivals in Jönköping for 22 years.

DreamHack Summer 2024 will take place in Jönköping between June 14-16. DreamHack Stockholm will come to Stockholm on November 22-24.
