A nice monitor but for who? AOC 27G2SPAE/BKA

AOC presented these two monitors as good options, but this particular monitor is a questionable choice for me. However, it might suit you.

Let me explain why. This is an IPS monitor, 27 inches in size, with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 and a refresh rate of 165Hz. It features a so-called borderless design.

It’s what I’d call a ”big small” screen. The 165Hz is great, and playing Call of Duty or Fortnite at 165Hz is fantastic. I have no complaints there. As mentioned, it’s a screen with three sides without borders, which looks sleek and clean, something I like.

The downside is that the screen is 27 inches and only has HD resolution, making it feel a bit large. I would have preferred if it were at least 2K.

It’s a screen that works fine for your Xbox Series S setup with built-in speakers, and it certainly handles the 120Hz that the Series S outputs.

But for the discerning gamer, I would say there are several other AOC monitors that I would purchase.
