World of Tanks rolls out a special season inspired by the iconic Rambo film trilogy

January 9, 2025 – The developers of World of Tanks unveil an action-packed new season, BATTLE PASS SPECIAL: RAMBO. From January 16 to January 30, players can unleash their inner warrior in a tribute to cinema’s toughest lone wolf. This Battle Pass introduces five iconic characters from the Rambo film trilogy, with the ultimate reward being the Rambo tank—a war machine as relentless as John Rambo himself.

Players will have the chance to recruit John Rambo in the base rewards track, alongside the unstoppable Sheriff Will Teasle. In the upgraded rewards track, players can unlock the cunning strategist Marshall Murdock. Special bundles also feature Colonel Trautman, Rambo’s mentor, and the brave freedom fighter Co Bao. Each character comes with unique voiceovers, adding a personal touch to every battle.

The event’s grand reward is the heavy Rambo tank, a top-tier Premium vehicle as durable and adaptable as Rambo himself. It’s designed with iconic details from the movies, such as a stylized log trap, Rambo’s signature knife, a machine gun adorned with Rambo’s headband, inscriptions, and more—all paying homage to Rambo’s legacy.

In addition to the Rambo tank, players can elevate their gameplay with thematic 2D styles inspired by the different films. These styles reflect Rambo’s journey, from the forests of North America and the jungles of Vietnam to the deserts of Afghanistan.
