Swedish Esports Championships Return to Älmhult in March 2025!

Älmhult, Sweden – Ingka Centres and the Swedish Esports Federation (SESF), in partnership with Logitech G and Expressen, proudly announce the Swedish Esports Championship Finals for Counter-Strike 2, Dota 2, and Rocket League. The finals will take place at Live! Arena in Älmhult on March 14–15, kicking off the 2025 Esports & Gaming Tour.

The event invites gamers of all levels to join the celebration of Sweden’s fastest-growing sport. Starting at 4:00 PM on Friday, March 14, visitors can explore new games, watch exhibition matches, and enjoy live interviews. On Saturday, March 15, top Swedish teams will compete for the national titles.

“Hosting the finals reflects our commitment to creating vibrant and inclusive experiences,” says Johanna Strid, Meeting Place Manager at Ingka Centres.
“For the first time, champions will officially be recognized with the Swedish championship symbol,” adds Sammi Kaidi, SESF Chairman.

Esports & Gaming Tour 2025

Following the finals, the Esports & Gaming Tour will visit seven cities between March and May:

Älmhult: March 14–15
Göteborg: March 22–23
Linköping: March 29–30
Västerås: April 5–6
Stockholm: April 12–13
Sundsvall: April 26–27
Umeå: May 3–4

These events will feature gaming activities for the whole family, local esports talent, and opportunities to compete in Inferno Online’s talent hunt.
