No More Stick Drift! Razer Wolverine V3 Tournament Edition Review

There are tons of gaming controllers out there in every price range.
The Razer Wolverine Tournament Edition V3 sits somewhere in the middle – and it’s built for competitive players.
The big talking point? Hall Effect Thumbsticks.
They use magnetic technology instead of traditional potentiometers. The result: zero stick drift. None. It takes a little time to get used to, but you completely avoid the problem.
The response is fast – sometimes almost too fast in racing games – but in FPS and competitive titles it feels great.
The buttons have a satisfying “mouse-click” feel, and the bumper buttons have gone from two to three on each side. You can also adjust the travel distance for different playstyles.

On the underside, you’ll find four paddles placed perfectly so you won’t accidentally press them, unlike with some other controllers.
The material has textured grips for better hold, is easy to clean, and the whole thing weighs only 252 grams compared to the Xbox Elite Series 2 at 345 grams.
The downside? Razer’s Synapse software is very limited and doesn’t always work. You can change the polling rate directly on the controller – but that’s pretty much it.

For just over a thousand SEK, it’s still a great controller for PC and Xbox.
And yes – it’s wired with USB-C. Because come on… no real gamer plays wireless.
