KingsIsle and gamigo Cast a Welcome Home Spell on Wizard101 EU Players

European Wizards can sit back, relax, and enjoy the ride as their accounts begin to transition from Gameforge to KingsIsle

KingsIsle Entertainment and gamigo are pleased to announce the start of Wizard101’s European services transfer from Gameforge. Starting today, Wizards across the pond will be able to experience new magical updates at a much faster rate to ultimately sync up closer with their North American counterparts.

“Today marks an important date in the history of Wizard101 as we begin to welcome European Wizards home,” says KingsIsle Entertainment Game Director Leah Ruben. “While this is only the start of a longer road to syncing content internationally, it’s certainly a step in the right direction as we work hard to bring better support to European players going forward.”

European Wizard101 players are encouraged to visit the Wizard101 Europe Transition Details web page where they can learn more about transferring their accounts from Gameforge to KingsIsle and the special rewards they will receive for doing so. Rewards include memberships for everyone for a limited time, a new unique pet, and a mount. The page also has an FAQ that will hopefully answer all questions EU Wizards may have.
