From Grassroots to Global: BEACON Qualifier Opens Doors for Women in Pro VALORANT

The BEACON Game Changers Contenders Series 2 Qualifier is now open for registration — marking the UK and Nordics premier grassroots tournament designed as a pathway into professional esports for the next generation of professional women’s VALORANT talent.
What’s at stake? A share of the £1000 prize pool and a direct qualification slot into the Game Changers EMEA Contenders Series 2, the critical gateway to Riot Games’ elite esports leagues.
Game Changers is a vital part of the VALORANT competitive ecosystem, championing both diversity and excellence – and this year it has become even more integrated in the global esports program.
BEACON gives amateur and semi-pro players a unique chance to step into esports and fight their way up to the professional Game Changers and mixed-gender leagues. The winner of the
global Game Changers finals will earn a spot in the Challengers league, which in turn feeds into the top-tier VALORANT Champions Tour.
Jade “jademwah” Duffy of SK Nebula said: “Game Changers has been pivotal in helping me to achieve my dreams. I love how it continues to grow competitively every year, while continuing to provide opportunities to reach even higher levels in VALORANT esports.”
Aspiring Northern European teams can register for the BEACON Game Changers Contenders Series 2 Qualifier HERE. Individual challengers who have the skills to be a Game Changer, but aren’t already part of a team, can fill in the “Looking for Team Form” to be matched with other compatible players.
Signups will close on Thursday July 3rd at 2:00 PM BST, before the tournament kicks off at 1:00 PM BST Saturday July 5th and runs until the Grand Finals at 3:00 PM BST Sunday 13th July.
