Developed by Ritual Studios, Fretless is a musical RPG where players wield powerful legendary instruments, gather mighty riff attacks and save the land from devilish goons and musical hybrid monsters!

Rick Riffson, boss of the evil Super Metal Records company, uses the Battle of the Bands contest to extend his hold on every last note, chord, and song by trapping the best musicians with deceptive soul-binding contracts.

Embark on an adventure with Rob and his zany rock-loving friends to end SMR’s plans. Stay alert during your journey: Riffson’s devilish goons, monster-instrument hybrids, and legendary musical animals will try to get in your way!

Meet our new guests: Cult of Luna and Rabea Massaad

Cult of Luna is a Swedish post-metal band known for its atmospheric, heavy, and expansive sound. Formed in 1998, it has been a pioneering force in the post-metal and sludge metal genres. Its compositions often feel like journeys, shifting between crushing heaviness and ethereal beauty. The band’s music is about tension and release, evoking feelings of vastness, isolation, and catharsis.

In Fretless, they perform Rick Riffson’s main theme, full of devilish and mischievous undertones.

Rabea Massaad is a British guitarist, producer, and songwriter, known for his progressive, experimental, and emotionally expressive playing style. He gained widespread recognition through his work with bands such as Toska, Dorje, and FrogLeap, as well as his engaging presence on YouTube, where he shares gear reviews, guitar techniques, and original compositions.

Players will encounter his diabolically metal track while facing the Xylomander in an electric riff-off!
