Set in the year 30XX, LunarLux follows Bella, a fearless Lunar Warrior, and her robotic sidekick Tetra on a high-stakes mission across Luna, humanity’s new home after the collapse of Terra. With a mysterious comet approaching and time running out, the future of civilization hangs in the balance.

Explore a handcrafted moonscape teeming with surprises, from malfunctioning networks to secret-filled side paths. Whether soaring through craters in a jet suit, customizing your spaceship, or petting every dog you see (yes, it does something), LunarLux encourages curiosity at every turn. Players can interact with everything from talkative rocks to overflowing dumpsters, and uncover playful secrets woven throughout Luna’s pixel-perfect world.

Combat blends timing-based action with turn-based strategy, letting players chain together Active and Support skills into powerful Lux Combos. Mastering the timing of attacks is just as important as the combos themselves, with hidden recipes scattered across the world unlocking some of the game’s most devastating abilities.

The story of LunarLux takes players beyond a standard save-the-world arc. Players will uncover ancient mysteries, confront the ruthless Murk Slayer, and expose a conspiracy threatening all of Luna with the help of their robotic companion Tetra. As Tetra, players can dive into malfunctioning networks to solve unique minigame puzzles rendered in nostalgic 8-bit style, adding a layer of retro-flavored challenge that contrasts with the lush pixel art of Luna’s surface. With anime-inspired storytelling and sci-fi energy rooted in themes of resilience and discovery, LunarLux explores what it might truly take for humanity to survive among the stars, all while delivering heart, humor, and a whole lot of cosmic charm.

Originally released on PC via Steam after a successful Kickstarter campaign, LunarLux quickly won over players. The game holds a “Very Positive” rating on Steam, and outlets like Turn Based Lovers praised it as “a fresh take that blends inspiration from classics while carving out an identity all its own.”
