Review – Starfield
I’ve always been fascinated by space, ever since I was a kid. I remember my first presentation in sixth grade was about black holes. Sci-fi is the genre closest to my heart, and growing up I was lucky enough to experience shows like V, The X-Files, Babylon 5, and later Battlestar Galactica, just to name a few.
It’s probably no surprise that I also love games like the Mass Effect trilogy, The Outer Worlds 2, Cronos: The New Dawn, Cyberpunk 2077, and Dead Space, among others. When Starfield was announced for Xbox during E3 2018, both Andreas and I were incredibly excited! But when I finally sat down to play it, it felt somewhat empty.
Now, the game is being released on PlayStation 5 alongside a range of improvements and the free expansion “Free Lanes.” The question is whether I’ll get lost in space again—this time in a more positive way.
