Dive into Darkness: Voidsayer & Void Scout Now Available!

Two Worlds, One Abyss: Voidsayer and Void Scout Launch Today on Steam
Celebrate #TurnBasedThursdayFest with two ambitious new entries in the genre — the dark jRPG Voidsayer and the tactical roguelike Void Scout
Warsaw, Poland / Oxford, England – June 2, 2025 – The war for reality begins today. Voidsayer, the grim monster-taming jRPG from solo developer Pavel Auseisau, and Void Scout, the sci-fi tactics roguelike from Adversity Games, are now both available on PC via Steam. Released as part of #TurnBasedThursdayFest — a weeklong celebration of turn-based innovation hosted by indie.io — the two games present radically different takes on the genre, each rooted in deep strategy, rich atmosphere, and existential stakes.

In Voidsayer, players descend into a crumbling world consumed by the Abyss. As the titular Voidsayer, a masked survivor gifted with the power to command twisted creatures born from darkness, you must navigate a brutal, turn-based struggle for survival. With over 100 customizable monsters to collect, mutate, and command, Voidsayer challenges players to build deadly synergies, adapt to shifting threats, and push back against the end of the world — or embrace it.
Combat in Voidsayer is unforgiving and deeply tactical, requiring precise timing, clever positioning, and hard choices. Each monster has its own abilities, strengths, and evolutions, and players must continually adapt as the world — and the horrors within it — change from run to run. Outside the battlefield, players rebuild a shattered stronghold and uncover lost knowledge, shaping the world’s fate through morally gray decisions. Featuring hand-drawn visuals, atmospheric sound design, and procedural maps, Voidsayer delivers a haunting experience where every battle is a test of resolve and every ally may one day become a monster.
Launched alongside it is Void Scout, a bold and fast-paced turn-based roguelike from UK-based developer Adversity Games. In a universe threatened by an extradimensional collapse, players suit up as Alyssa, a brave conscript in the Void Scouts — the only force standing between the multiverse and annihilation. Backed by the AI Malakai and her starship the Void Cutter, Alyssa faces relentless horrors across procedurally generated missions in a stylish, sci-fi setting.

Each mission in Void Scout is a high-stakes tactical puzzle, where players must manage movement, combat, and objectives while reacting to unpredictable environmental hazards and enemy behavior. A dynamic Director system keeps tension high by tuning enemy spawns, item drops, and random events in real time. With a focus on mobility, line-of-sight, and resourceful use of nanotech upgrades and environmental tools, Void Scout rewards calm under pressure and creative tactics. Death is not the end — with each run, players carry forward hard-earned knowledge and permanent upgrades, building strength across realities.
“Void Scout grew out of a simple idea: what if your choices mattered more than your numbers, and death wasn’t the end, but part of the journey?” says Joseph Norris of Adversity Games. “It’s for fans of sci-fi horror and strategy who want something that keeps surprising them.”
Voidsayer ($14.99 USD) and Void Scout ($11.99 USD) are both available now on Steam with 20% launch discounts.
