The Sims Delivering New Hair, Size-Inclusive Looks, and more for Free Starting Today!

As part of The Sims’ ongoing commitment to expanding representation and inclusivity in-game, The Sims 4 released a free update today, celebrating individuality and self-expression with a new cosmic coils afro-textured hairstyle and 6 Create a Sim (CAS) items designed to embrace all shapes and sizes.

Inspired by the art of natural hair sculpting, the brand new cosmic coils afro-textured hair expands cultural representation in CAS with a hairstyle sure to leave the whole town starstruck.
The new fashion-forward pieces arriving in CAS celebrate every size, and feature clothing options across feminine and masculine frames.

This update builds on last month’s content release, which introduced eight new default Sims and CAS accessories influenced by Native American, South Asian, Caribbean, and Latin American cultures. The Sims 4 consulted with both internal Games for All team and external cultural experts through SILA Consulting to ensure these additions authentically honor the cultural traditions that inspired them. The Sims will continue to release free content updates throughout the year that expand representation in-game so players can create a wider variety of Sims and stories.

The free update is now available across the EA app, Epic Games Store and Steam®, PlayStation®5, PlayStation®4, Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One systems.
