Face the consequences of your decisions in the brand new demo of the narrative roguelite Nightpyre

Players can now try the demo on Steam, including their Steam Deck, and experience its unique magic combat system and tough decisions

The independent studio Silveil is pleased to announce that their dark fantasy narrative roguelite Nightpyre now has a demo available on Steam. Players can venture into the world of Candlelight, where they’ll play as the Sacrificed, a hero that will have to give their own internal light in order to break a curse and leave their mark on the world. Every time they die, the world will change, new challenges and biomes will appear, and players will be faced with unique narrative events where they’ll have to make decisions that will alter the fate of entire civilizations.

In this demo, players will be able to customize their character, explore stunning night time landscapes and try out all the unique features of Nightpyre, including:

Creation of spells through the combination of runes they will learn or find scattered in the world.
Different enemies and a final boss that will put their skills to the test.
Pieces of lore hidden in the environment or behind certain dialogues.
A writing system where they can create their own poem and customize it.
A log of their scores where they will become a star in the big night sky along with other players that will shine according to their score.
